Planning your future
What to expect
No two people are alike. And the financial advice you receive from us will be designed for you; based on the reality you want to create.
We’ll use our expertise and knowledge to consider how your attitude to money and risk can work for you and help you create more for yourself. We may suggest that you start by simply rearranging your budget or making smart decisions about saving and investing. And we can also take action on your behalf if you wish.
We’ll take you through a seven-step process, outlined for you below. And while we will advise you at every stage, you’ll remain in control and decide whether to stop, change or continue any of our recommendations.
|Step 1||We meet in an initial meeting that helps you find out about us and helps us get to know you a little.|
|Step 2||We then ask you for some information so we can better understand who you are and what you want.|
|Step 3||We help you clarify your goals and your current financial position.|
|Step 4||We use seven financial lenses and strategies to formulate the right financial plan for you. We consider things like tax, social security and estate planning and develop specific recommendations which we present in your financial plan (statement of advice).|
|Step 5||We discuss our recommendations with you and aim to understand how you feel about them.|
|Step 6||Your plan can now be put into action. We begin actioning the agreed recommendations we’ll carry out for you and help you make any changes you agree to make.|
|Step 7||We periodically help review your objectives, achievements and ongoing needs.|
